Sixty Years of Learning Through
Listening®
|
|
For 60 years, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic
(RFB&D), a national nonprofit, volunteer organization, has
been the leading producer of accessible educational materials
for students with disabilities such as visual impairment or
dyslexia that make reading standard print difficult or impossible.
With titles available in every subject area and grade level
from kindergarten through graduate studies, RFB&Ds
digitally recorded textbooks are effective learning tools for
students challenged by the printed page.

| RFB&D has released its first

Lee, the world-famous co-creator of Spider-Man, Iron

Our January release
of www.learningthroughlistening.org
is now available, with new lesson plans, graphic organizers,
listening activities, and video resources to assist teachers
in the successful implementation of our Learning Through
Listening Program.
We've added over 75 new lesson plans and
other tools and created two new sections, the Video Vault
and the Listening Lab. In addition, we've added a monthly
feature with new lesson plans related to our popular Librarian's
Choice lists. May's list features lesson plans
using titles from our collection that focus
on Memorial Day.
