EclipseReader 4.0 Product Updates

eClipseReader 4.0 - NEW FREE DOWNLOADABLE UPGRADE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS UPGRADE

Users using previous versions 1.x or 1.2 it is recommended uninstalling these previous versions of eClipseReader to ensure a clean fresh installation of Version 4.0.

It is not necessary to uninstall for later versions (2.X). Please see system requirements to ensure compatibility.

This is a full installation, however, it will only install on previous versions of eClipseReader.

New eClipseReader 4.0 Features

1. Now includes support for encrypted graphics.
2. Improve book parsing speed and navigation performance. Menu system is now selectable to be either Recorded Audio Voices or Synthetic Speech.
3. To enable the synthetic speech menu system, select "Turn off Recorded Voices" in the Preference Menu.
4. Speed control is enabled for eClipseReader's built-in screen reader when using synthetic voices for menu system voice output.
5. Improved built-in screen reader verbosity providing greater
   descriptive detail in the Table of Contents navigation window, the "Browse My computer" file and folder navigation tree and for other features, messages and controls.
6. Improved performance and reliability when reading text only DAISY books.
7. JAWS scripts and Window-eyes Set files are available for eClipseReader Version 4.0 that improve the screen reader interoperability by enabling a silent association when daisy books are navigated and read. See SUPPORT UTILITIES on the eClipseReader.com support page.
