Additionally, as an individual member, not only will you be able to order your recorded textbooks independently and have them shipped directly to your house, but you can also take your membership with you as you move from high school to college and beyond.
It's easy to register with RFB&D. Since we are a nonprofit organization, we charge a nominal membership fee to help defray the costs of providing our unique services to as many eligible people as possible. The cost of an individual membership is $35 a year, plus a registration fee of $65. In order to play RFB&D audiobooks, you will need to use specially adapted CD players and software, a Windows®-compatible desktop computer, or portable media player. RFB&D offers a complete line of players, software and accessories for nonprofit sale. at: *If you purchased your CD player or software from another source, you will need to purchase a User Authorization Key (UAK) before you can play our books. The cost of the UAK is $10 for CD players and $10-$20 for software, depending on which software product you are using. In addition, you will be required to send your CD player to RFB&D for installation of the UAK. Please contact Member Services at 800-221-4792 if you have any questions regarding the purchase or installation of the User Authorization Key. |
