Educators RFB&D's Learning Through Listening® Institutional Membership Program For Educational Institutions, Public and Private
RFB&D members who listen to audiobooks either alone, or while following along in the printed book, report greater educational success and feel better about themselves because they can keep up with their peers. By registering for an RFB&D Learning Through Listening® (LTL®) Institutional Membership your school can have access to our extensive library of digitally recorded audiobook titles. Visit our home page to see the current number of titles in our continuously growing collection. The LTL Institutional Membership program was created to meet the growing demand of schools and other institutions who benefit from our services, and who have asked for a convenient and flexible method of providing an onsite educational accommodation for their students with learning disabilities, visual impairments and other physical disabilities.
As an LTL Institutional Member, you will also receive the following additional support services and benefits:
RFB&D offers three different levels of membership to choose from, enabling you to have the flexibility to choose which program best meet your school's needs. After you've decided which program you would like, our staff members will help get you started with support materials, training CD, toll-free member service support, and in some locations, in-school teacher training. In order to play RFB&D audiobooks, you will need to use specially adapted CD players or software. You can also use Windows-compatible portable media players or computers for our downloadable audio textbooks. RFB&D offers a complete line of players, software and accessories for nonprofit sale. Click on the "Players and Accessories" button above and to the left for more information.* The contents of all RFB&D audiobooks are protected under copyright law. Copying, sharing or redistributing them in any form to any person is strictly prohibited by law and is a violation of publishers' rights and of the terms of RFB&D memberships. All members, both individual and institutional, are required to complete, sign and return a Copyright Acknowledgment Form before their membership application can be processed. Institutional members must sign a new form each year at renewal. Quick Links
*If you purchased your CD player or software from another source, you will need to purchase a User Authorization Key (UAK) before you can play our books. The cost of the UAK is $10 for CD players and $10-$20 for software, depending on which software product you are using. In addition, you will be required to send your CD player to RFB&D for installation of the UAK. Please contact Member Services at 800-221-4792 if you have any questions regarding the purchase or installation of the User Authorization Key.
