RFB&D encourages and accepts a wide variety of gifts that support programs such as, RFB&D's Adopt A Text Program and educational outreach services that open doors to educational opportunities for students with print disabilities.

As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, RFB&D has no guaranteed sources of income. Gifts which are fully tax-deductible are VITAL to our future!

Gifts of Stock

You may want to consider donating shares of your appreciated stock instead of cash. You will completely eliminate the tax on the gain and will receive a tax deduction for the full value of your gift.

All you need to do is write a letter to your broker stating how many shares you want to donate to RFB&D Inland Empire/Orange County Unit.

RFB&D and Your Estate

The following language can be used if you wish to name RFB&D in your will:
"I give, devise, bequeath to the Inland Empire/Orange County Unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, at 1844 W. 11th Street #C, Upland, CA 91786, Incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey, the sum of $___________ or ___________ percent of my estate."

Giving options, in addition to the above, include real estate, life insurance and gifts that produce a life income, such as charitable gift annuities or contributions to RFB&D's Pooled Income Fund. Gifts may also be made through a bequest and are essential to the growth of RFB&D's endowment to assure our continued progress.
