RFB&D-LA's
Annual Recognition Party was celebrated on Sunday,
June 8, 2008 at USC's beautiful Town and Gown. Our Master
of Ceremonies was Kent Shocknek, CBS2-TV's top morning anchor!
We paid tribute to our 500 dedicated volunteers and our
six Winslow Coyne Reitnouer Scholastic Achievement Award

Raising awareness, recording more textbooks
and raising funds was the focus of our 16th
Annual Record-A-Thon. "Celebrity Saturday"
was held at the Hollywood Studio on April 5, 2008.
Celebrities, volunteers and guests came together to
bring to light the vital services RFB&D-LA provides.
