Our mission is to create opportunities
for individual success by providing, and promoting the effective
use of, accessible educational materials.
Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic,
a nonprofit volunteer organization, is the nation's educational
library serving people who cannot effectively read standard
print due to visual impairment, learning disability or other
physical disability.
The Southwest Region of RFB&D is serving
Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New
Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas.
Starting this Spring, RFB&D's Texas
and Arizona recording studios will host families and supporters
of our military during a special donor-supported "Tributes
for Troops" project. RFB&D will invite guests in
those geographic areas to record supportive and appreciative
messages that will be professionally produced and duplicated
on CDs to be delivered overseas to an active member of our
armed forces or given to a veteran. Visit www.rfbd.org/tributesfortroops
