We also provide an educational outreach program to schools to help them use and understand the program and our services. Our
program is accomplished through the time and talents donated
by our specially-trained volunteers. These dedicated volunteers
come from all walks of life and areas of expertise to produce

Mrs. Owens visited the studio April 15 at 10:30 a.m. She presented a proclamation from the Governor's Office and participated in textbook recording. Mayor Hickenlooper (pictured below with volunteer Fern Balaun) was a guest on April 8 at 8:30 a.m. and recorded Peace Like A River for the "One Book One Denver" initiative.
Media personalities Ed Sardella, Adele Arakawa, Jim Benemann, Mike Landis, Dick Kelsey, Mike Nelson and Tony Zarrella along with Joyce Meskis of the Tattered Cover Bookstore visited and recorded at various times during the week. Guests were invited to the recording studio between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to observe the recording process, learn about volunteer opportunities and bid on silent auction items.
