As a student or professional, you will find that there
are several benefits to becoming an individual member.
These include:
|
|
Additionally, as an individual member, not only will you
be able to order your recorded textbooks independently and
have them shipped directly to your house, but you can also
take your membership with you as you move from high school
to college and beyond.
Anyone with a documented disability that limits or prevents
his or her ability to read standard print effectively is
eligible to become a registered member with RFB&D. This
includes people with visual impairments, learning disabilities
or other physical disabilities. To find out how RFB&D has
helped others, see our Success Stories.

It's easy to register with RFB&D. Since we are a nonprofit
organization, we charge a nominal membership fee to help
defray the costs of providing our unique services to as
many eligible people as possible. The cost of an individual
membership is $35 a year, plus a registration fee of $65.
In order to play RFB&D audiobooks, you will need to
use specially adapted CD players or software. RFB&D
offers a complete line of players, software and accessories
for nonprofit sale. Click on the "Players and Accessories"
button above and to the left for more information.*
