RFB&D's Learning Through Listening® Institutional Membership Program For Educational Institutions, Public and Private
As
an educator, you have the capability of bringing a powerful tool like RFB&D's
audiobooks into your classroom to help students who have difficulty reading
because of a print disability.
RFB&D members who listen to audiobooks either alone, or while following along in the printed book, report greater educational success and feel better about themselves because they can keep up with their peers. By registering for an RFB&D Learning Through Listening® (LTL®) Institutional Membership your school can have access to our extensive library of digitally recorded audiobook titles. Visit our home page to see the current number of titles in our continuously growing collection.
The LTL Institutional Membership program was created to meet the growing demand of schools and other institutions who benefit from our services, and who have asked for a convenient and flexible method of providing an onsite educational accommodation for their students with learning disabilities, visual impairments and other physical disabilities.
RFB&D's
LTL program offers an affordable way of providing students with an accessible
education, and you will feel confident knowing that RFB&D's audio textbooks
give your students the educational materials they need while fulfilling
federal and state mandates for equal access to education.
As an LTL Institutional Member, you will also receive the following additional support services and benefits:
-
RFB&D Membership Guide
-
RFB&D's Learning Through Listening Teacher's Guide, including RFB&D's Audiobook Training Tool CD
-
Copies of RFB&D's colorful quick reference guides for either CD players or downloadable audio textbooks
-
Classroom strategies and graphic organizers
RFB&D offers three different levels of membership to choose from, enabling you to have the flexibility to choose which program best meet your school's needs. After you've decided which program you would like, our staff members will help get you started with support materials, training CD, toll-free member service support, and in some locations, in-school teacher training.
In order to play RFB&D audiobooks, you will need to use specially adapted CD players or software. You can also use Windows-compatible portable media players or computers for our downloadable audio textbooks. RFB&D offers a complete line of players, software and accessories for nonprofit sale. Visit the Players and Accessories page for more information.*
The contents of all RFB&D audiobooks are protected under copyright law.
