Michigan Unit Location: Hours of Operation: The Michigan Unit was formed in 1958 and originally was located at Wayne State University. In 1991, the studio moved to a larger location in Troy to accommodate readers from both Wayne State and Oakland Universities. The unit has nine recording booths and 165 volunteers.
