Message
from the Regional Executive Director: Hello and welcome to the Mountains
and Plains Region site! We are here to serve YOU, the students, educators
and parents of our region. Our job is to make sure that all students with
print disabilities are provided with the tools necessary to succeed in their
educational goals as well as their life goals. We accomplish this through
education, training and service. Our tools are audio textbooks for students,
materials for educators and resources for parents.
The Regional Unit of Mountains and Plains serves Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. We have been serving the students, educators and parents of the Rocky Mountain area since 1951 and are excited about expanding our service area to include the entire region. Our main office and recording studio are in Denver, Colorado. We encourage you to call or stop by for a tour to see how we make Learning Through Listening a reality for thousands of students in our region. - Marie Liddiard
