Helping Our Members Cope with Tragedy

 Ribbon graphic, Stars and Stripes

Numerous news outlets and organizations have offered advice and resources to help people deal with the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) has compiled a special bibliography of recorded titles for the benefit our members and their families through this difficult time.

Educators and parents may find this list particularly helpful when explaining some of the recent events to younger students.

We also offer Additional Online Resources on the subject of coping with tragedy.

How to Use the Bibliography

Each entry includes the RFB&D shelf number, the number of cassettes (in parentheses), the author, the title, publisher's information and copyright, and in some instances, a brief description of the book. If there is a book you'd like to order, please contact our Member Services department at (800) 221-4792.
