In South Texas Plains, the Educational Outreach program is funded by the Ford Salute to Education Fund and the Genevieve McDavitt Orsinger Foundation.

RFB&D Learning Through Listening® Institutional Memberships are usually purchased by each school or school district. The Texas Unit does apply for a number of grants to help offset the cost of providing equipment, membership and training for schools. RFB&D volunteers also raise money during Record-A-Thon to sponsor memberships for area schools.
